A topical numbing agent is applied to the area where treated. The numbing agent will be on for up to 15/20 minutes. Here at DM Aesthetics our clients comfort during treatment will come first. We always ensure gentle and safe practice.

Appointments are scheduled for 1 hour. The time of the procedure itself depends on the type of treatment your having. Great results take time, remember!

The longevity of results for each individual is different. Factors such as age, brand of filler, lifestyle, metabolism play a huge part in how filler holds in the body. On average dermal fillers can last up to 9-12 months.

There is always downtime when undergoing any type of cosmetic procedure. Each procedure has different amount of down time. Please take this into consideration when making an appointment to plan around any scheduled life events you may have. We advise to allow 4 weeks for any treatment to completely subside. All clients will receive thorough aftercare that must be followed.

The amount of treatments depends on the severity of the issue you have and how quick your skin reacts. Micro needling procedures aren’t painful, but they can be uncomfortable when needling certain areas of the face that have less tissue. Micro needling uses tiny needle points to create punctures within the dermis. The needle depth is changed throughout the procedure to suit your concerns, required results and pain threshold. We do not use a topical numbing agent for this particular procedure.

Appointments are scheduled for 1 hour. The time of the procedure itself can take around 15 minutes due to our practitioners being trained in advanced needling. Keeping discomfort to the minimum. Once we have finished needling we will then apply the Hyla Active 3D Sculptured Facial Mask is infused with copper peptides, zinc, vitamin B5, Hylafuse and anti-ageing ingredients. To see good results, you will require further treatment within 4-6 weeks of your previous session. This is why we recommend our courses for your results requirements at the correct time. This is how you will achieve your desired results a lot quicker than booking separate sessions. From 4-6 weeks results will continue to improve due to collagen stimulation being at its highest point. Results will show most after the first month of your initial/previous treatment.

Avoid Anti-wrinkle injections, IPL/Laser, facial filler treatments 14 days prior to your Dermapen appointment. Anti-wrinkle and fillers can be administered after treatment with no contraindications. IPL/Laser you will need to allow 4-6 weeks post treatment.

Do not use any AHA’s and Retinol products 7 days prior. Please arrive with clean, make up free skin to your appointment. This is very important.

Yes. After the procedure, your skin will be red and warm. Possible inflammation and may be light bruising. This can last up to 12-24 hours. Your skin will feel dry and flakey once the redness has subsided and will need a lot of hydration and nourishment. This is due to the turnover of the new skin cells being produced.

Dermaplane Medical Exfoliation is recommended every 4 weeks. Dermaplaning doesn’t use any chemical solutions or goes deeper than the top skin layer, it can be performed on a fairly regular basis. That’s why we recommend getting a dermaplaning treatment every four weeks to help maintain healthy and radiant skin.

Dermaplaning is a non invasive pain free treatment that has no down time. Make up can be applied directly after treatment. We advise a high SPF to be used daily as the skin will be more sensitive than usual.

No having dermaplaning will not affect the regrowth of your facial hair. This treatment does not affect the hair follicle in any way. Dermaplaning uses medical scalpel blades which are designed to gently exfoliates your epidermis in a safe way.

Yes you can combine this treatment with our Dermapen or Hydrafacial. Dermaplane incorporated with these treatments will be much more affective for your results.

Hydrafacial is a non invasive pain free treatment that has no down time. We advise a high SPF to be used daily as the skin will be more sensitive than usual.

• Hydrafacial Express is a 30 minute treatment.
• Hydrafacial Platinum and Hydrafacial Platinum Plus is a 60 minute treatment.
• Hydrafacial Luxury is a 90 minute treatment.

Results are immediate. If we are treating you for a skin condition such as acne, hyperpigmentation, you will see a difference from once session but it is a working progress. Long lasting results are not achievable from one session.

Profhilo Treatment is a highly purified injectable hyaluronic acid skin booster. With special patented NAHYCO® technology, Profhilo functions to hydrate the skin from inside, like an internal moisturiser, and stimulates the production of elastin and collagen. The high concentration Hyaluronic Acid is injected just below the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly to boost hydration in the skin. Over the period of 4 weeks you will notice a tighter, lifted and glowing complexion.

Profhilo can not only be administered on the face but the arms, hands, knees and neck too.

We recommend a course of 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart. For maintenance 1 treatment every 6 months. 

You will be able to see visible skin improvements within 24 hours. 

Duration of results post treatment can last up to 6-9 months.

Seventy Hyal 2000 is a bio-stimulating skin booster that is intended to improve hydration levels within the skin for a luminous-looking complexion. Simultaneously, this skin booster stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin. Ultimately, Seventy Hyal 2000 aims to inject a radiant glow into the skin, creating a youthful-looking appearance.

Initially, 2 to 3 treatments of Seventy Hyal 2000 4-weeks apart will be required to achieve the desired result. In some cases, and depending on initial skin quality a fourth treatment may be needed. Treatments will need to be topped up every 6-12 months, depending on skin quality.

Results should begin to show instantly with optimal results showing after 2 weeks.
